That's my family's farm stand, for those who are just learning who we are, we've always lived by “The Honor System.”
I figured since we can't talk to ticket buyers directly. This is a bit of a social experiment.
Like a roadside farm stand, we’re putting our trust in you—where you help determine the outcome.
We’ve set a minimum price that we simply can’t go below without losing money. Beyond that, you decide what this day is worth for you. Free Parking, Free Water, Free Bull Riding, Free Professional Line Dancing, Free Axe Throwing, Free cooling Tents, Free Lasso tutorials... You see where this is eventually going.
Your purchase isn’t just a ticket—it’s valuable feedback. With only a few thousand tickets remaining, what you choose to pay will help shape ticket prices for the future of this Country Music event.
Please keep this in mind: the lower people choose to pay, the faster these tickets sell out. This experiment is about finding the balance between affordability and the financial reality of producing an event like this. Which currently sits at ~$216,000.
Why? Because I believe Connecticut deserves a country music festival of its own. To the best of my knowledge, our state has never had one on this scale. I believed in that vision enough to fund this festival entirely out of my own pocket, with virtually no sponsor or outside financial support.
Every ticket sold helps determine whether we can continue building this event for years to come—assuming I don’t go bankrupt first.
Thank you for being part of this experiment, and for believing in what we at BigFest are trying to build over the next few decades.
Thank you,
Billy Macca
